- For the Chicken
- 1 pound chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- For the Sauce
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- For the Noodles & Garnish
- 8 ounces noodles
- 2 scallions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes.
- Pour sauce into skillet and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Return chicken to skillet and toss to coat.
- Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- Toss noodles with chicken and garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Double the sauce for extra-coated noodles.
- Let the dish rest for 2 minutes before serving for thicker sauce.
