This easy Ravioli Lasagna layers cheesy ravioli with a rich meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and melted mozzarella for a comforting, family-friendly dinner that delivers all the flavor of classic lasagna with much less effort.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (85/15 recommended)
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 jar (24 oz) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic until cooked, then drain grease.
  3. Add Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and spaghetti sauce. Simmer 5 minutes.
  4. Mix ricotta, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  5. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the baking dish.
  6. Add half the frozen ravioli in an even layer.
  7. Spread ricotta mixture over ravioli.
  8. Add half the remaining meat sauce.
  9. Add remaining ravioli in a layer.
  10. Top with remaining meat sauce.
  11. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  12. Cover with foil (sprayed) and bake 40 minutes.
  13. Remove foil and bake 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  14. Rest 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Make ahead and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Freezes well for up to 3 months.
  • Leftovers keep in the fridge for 3 days.
  • Reheat covered in oven or microwave.
