- 1 ball pizza dough
- 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 small garlic clove, grated
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 5 oz fresh mozzarella
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare pizza dough according to instructions.
- If using fresh mozzarella, slice and pat dry.
- Stretch dough on parchment into a 9×13 inch shape.
- Mix olive oil, water, parsley, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until emulsified.
- Dimple the dough and spread the mixture evenly over it.
- Add mozzarella cheese evenly.
- Transfer to preheated oven or pizza stone and bake for 8–10 minutes until golden.
- Top with lemon juice, parmesan, parsley, and black pepper. Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
- A baking sheet can substitute for a pizza stone.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 day or freeze for up to 3 months.
