  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails (about 56 oz each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to broil and position the rack in the middle.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of each lobster shell lengthwise. Gently pull the meat up and rest it on top of the shell.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Broil for 8–10 minutes, until the meat is opaque and slightly golden on top.
  6. Remove from oven and brush with remaining garlic butter. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the lobster to keep it tender and juicy.
  • You can grill or bake instead of broiling if preferred.
  • Serve with rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
