Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 24 frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional toppings: pickles, diced tomatoes, chopped lettuce, extra bacon, burger sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Bake tater tots for 15–20 minutes until golden and crisp, flipping halfway.
- Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat with salt and pepper until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Stir in ketchup and mustard.
- Let tater tots cool slightly, then press them into a muffin tin to form cone or cup shapes. Bake for 10 minutes to set.
- Mix cooked beef, bacon, cheddar, and mozzarella in a bowl until combined.
- Spoon filling into each tater tot cone, pressing gently.
- Top with extra cheese if desired and bake for 5 minutes until melted.
- Remove from muffin tin and serve hot with toppings of choice.
Notes
- Add garlic powder or onion powder for extra flavor.
- Any cheese blend can be used.
- Can be pre-made and reheated in the oven before serving.
