- 1 medium fresh pineapple (about 3 cups chunks)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Cut off the top and bottom of the pineapple, remove the skin, and cut into 1-inch chunks.
- Toss pineapple with oil, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, and salt until evenly coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2 minutes.
- Place pineapple in a single layer and air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and caramelized.
- Serve warm alone or with ice cream or yogurt.
Notes
- Do not overcook to avoid mushy texture.
- Fresh pineapple gives best flavor and caramelization.
- Shake basket halfway for even cooking.
- Optional variations: chili powder, lime juice, or vanilla ice cream topping.
