- 8 oz feta cheese
- 1 head of garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the top off the head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap in foil. Roast for 30–35 minutes until soft.
- In a food processor, combine feta cheese, roasted garlic (squeezed from skins), olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve with bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add a little water or more olive oil while blending.
- This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Experiment with different herbs for varied flavors.
