- 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounces)
- 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 Tablespoon chili powder
- 1 Tablespoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Place the chicken in a crock pot.
- Add seasonings, chopped cilantro, and lime juice on top of the chicken.
- Pour tomato sauce over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken shreds easily.
- Shred the chicken and stir it back into the sauce in the crock pot.
- Serve as is or over rice.

- Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5-6 days.
