  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss chicken cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl.
  3. Place chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between pieces.
  4. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking basket at 7-minute mark, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. While cooking, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Whisk cornstarch and cold water in a separate container, stir into saucepan, and simmer 2 minutes until thickened.
  7. Transfer cooked chicken to a bowl, pour glaze over chicken, and toss to coat.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
