- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 8 ounces shredded provolone cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add chopped bell pepper, sliced mushrooms, and diced onion to the skillet. Sauté until tender.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper to season.
- Combine cooked penne pasta with the meat mixture in the skillet. Toss gently to coat.
- Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese over the top and cover for 2-3 minutes until melted.
