- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add sliced onions and cook 10-12 minutes until golden and caramelized.
- Stir in garlic and cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking apart with a spatula.
- Drain excess fat, stir in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Toast hamburger buns lightly.
- Scoop beef mixture onto bottom buns, top with Swiss cheese, and cover with top buns.
- Garnish with parsley if desired, serve immediately.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or chicken.
- Adjust seasoning to taste; add extra Worcestershire or soy sauce for deeper flavor.
