Ingredients

  • 4 oz goat cheese (herbed goat cheese optional)
  • 2 slices bread (sourdough or whole grain)
  • 2 tbsp honey (or agave syrup)
  • 2 tbsp butter (or olive oil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread goat cheese on one slice of bread, drizzle honey on top, then place the second slice on top.
  3. Butter the outside of the sandwich and place in skillet; grill 3–5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip gently and grill the other side 3–5 minutes until cheese melts and bread is crispy.
  5. Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve immediately.
