- 4 oz goat cheese (herbed goat cheese optional)
- 2 slices bread (sourdough or whole grain)
- 2 tbsp honey (or agave syrup)
- 2 tbsp butter (or olive oil)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread goat cheese on one slice of bread, drizzle honey on top, then place the second slice on top.
- Butter the outside of the sandwich and place in skillet; grill 3–5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip gently and grill the other side 3–5 minutes until cheese melts and bread is crispy.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Serve with a fresh salad or tomato soup for a complete meal.
