- 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak (or ribeye), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prep steak: Pat steak cubes dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat pan: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steak: Cook steak cubes 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove to a plate.
- Make garlic butter: Lower heat to medium, add butter, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Stir 1 minute until fragrant.
- Combine: Return steak to skillet, toss to coat in garlic butter 1–2 minutes.
- Add Parmesan: Sprinkle over steak bites, toss evenly, cook 30 seconds more.
- Serve: Transfer to plate, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Pair with mashed potatoes, zucchini noodles, or a side salad.
- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
- Ensure steak is at room temperature before cooking for even searing.
