- 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 lb (450g) baby potatoes, halved
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and cut four large pieces of aluminum foil.
- Toss baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and half the minced garlic.
- Divide potatoes among foil sheets.
- Mix steak bites with melted butter, Italian seasoning, and remaining garlic; place on top of potatoes in each packet.
- Seal foil packets tightly and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until potatoes are tender and steak reaches desired doneness. Alternatively, grill over medium heat for 15–20 minutes, flipping once.
- Carefully open packets, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use high-quality steak for best results.
- Don’t overcook; steak continues cooking after removal from heat.
- Make ahead: prep packets up to 24 hours in advance.
- Optional: add Parmesan or mozzarella before serving.
