Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb (450g) baby potatoes, halved
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and cut four large pieces of aluminum foil.
  2. Toss baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and half the minced garlic.
  3. Divide potatoes among foil sheets.
  4. Mix steak bites with melted butter, Italian seasoning, and remaining garlic; place on top of potatoes in each packet.
  5. Seal foil packets tightly and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until potatoes are tender and steak reaches desired doneness. Alternatively, grill over medium heat for 15–20 minutes, flipping once.
  7. Carefully open packets, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use high-quality steak for best results.
  • Don’t overcook; steak continues cooking after removal from heat.
  • Make ahead: prep packets up to 24 hours in advance.
