Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh herbs (parsley, basil, thyme)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil; mix to form a dough.
  3. Knead dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Punch down dough and roll out into a rectangle.
  6. Spread garlic, herbs, and cheese evenly over dough.
  7. Roll dough tightly and pinch edges to seal.
  8. Place in greased loaf pan and let rise 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  10. Cool before slicing and serving.
