  • 3 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup marsala wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create cutlets. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; dredge in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and mushrooms; sauté until browned.
  4. Add minced garlic and marsala wine; simmer 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream; return chicken to skillet and simmer 4-5 minutes until cooked through. Adjust seasoning before serving.
