Grilled or air fried spicy Bang Bang Chicken Skewers seasoned and slathered with sweet and tangy bang bang sauce and cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs, cubed into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp hot honey
  • Bang Bang Sauce: 1 cup mayonnaise, 2 Tbsp lime juice, ⅔ cup Thai sweet chili sauce, ¼ cup Sriracha

Instructions

  1. Combine cubed chicken, oil, and seasonings in a bowl and toss to coat.
  2. Thread chicken onto skewers. Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice to make sauce. Reserve half for after cooking.
  3. Brush remaining sauce over skewers and grill 15–20 min or air fry at 400°F 10–12 min, flipping halfway, until chicken reaches 165°F.
  4. Serve with reserved sauce and a drizzle of hot honey, if desired.

Notes

  • Boneless, skinless breasts also work.
  • Omit cayenne, hot honey, and use less Sriracha for milder flavor.
  • Soak wooden skewers in water to prevent burning.
  • Reheat in air fryer 3 min at 350°F or microwave gently; store up to 4 days in airtight container.
