- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 slices ham, chopped
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, chopped ham, and Swiss cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour soup mixture over chicken and ham; stir until coated.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over casserole.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of paprika to the breadcrumb topping.
- Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
- Can be made ahead and baked later; just add 5–10 minutes to baking time if chilled.
