- 3 packages Mrs. T’s Cheddar Pierogies
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth (for cheese sauce)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
Instructions
- In a 4-6 quart crockpot, add frozen pierogies, sliced kielbasa, 3 cups chicken broth, and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Stir gently. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6 hours.
- About 30 minutes before finished, soften cream cheese with 1 cup chicken broth. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour cream cheese mixture into crockpot, stir, and sprinkle remaining 1 cup cheddar cheese on top. Cook on low 30 more minutes.
- When bubbly and cheese melted, serve hot. Garnish with sliced green onions if desired.
