Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter (for cooking chicken)
  • 8 oz (225 g) egg noodles or pasta of choice
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 12 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest, then slice.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic (if using) and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Toss in cooked noodles and Parmesan cheese. Mix until noodles are coated.
  4. Plate buttered noodles and top with sliced chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Optional: add steamed vegetables like broccoli or peas for extra color and nutrition.
  • Can use chicken thighs if preferred; adjust cooking time accordingly.
