  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook Italian sausage and diced onion until the meat is no longer pink.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30–45 seconds. Drain excess grease.
  5. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Add marinara sauce and cooked tortellini to the skillet and stir to combine.
  7. Transfer mixture to an oven-safe dish, top with shredded mozzarella, and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  8. Serve warm.
