  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 oz (700g) marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 12 cups shredded mozzarella
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti until al dente; drain and toss with a teaspoon of olive oil.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef or sausage with onion; add garlic and cook 1 minute. Pour in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer 8–10 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix hot spaghetti with cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  4. Grease a baking dish with butter and layer the cream-cheese spaghetti on the bottom.
  5. Spread meat sauce evenly over the pasta.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and extra Parmesan on top.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
